Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon smoked chipotle spice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Bacon: In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
